As a young girl on the banks of the Kenai River in Alaska, Kristy would tie fishing flies and sell them to local Coho salmon fishermen. She would then venture from the riverbanks to the bead store in town with her earnings and purchase beads to create her own unique beaded designs.

Many years and many trials later, she has started a jewelry business to support her daughter and herself. As a pioneer woman of the Providence Heights program, she is reaching back to her Alaskan roots to create exquisite, unmatched designs — exuding fearless faith for the future.
